Job Summary and Qualifications Perform general clerical duties such as answering phones and processing requisitions in house and specimens sent to reference laboratories. Performs phlebotomy draws requested during shift both in in-patient and outpatient areas. Adheres to proper drawing techniques, and understands the cognitive, emotional and chronological maturation of each age group. Possess the technical skills necessary to organize, assist and to perform various medical laboratory procedures in the Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Urinalysis and Histology departments as needed.
