Key Responsibilities
- Contract Administration: Interpret collective bargaining agreements and provide guidance to managers and supervisors.
- Grievance and Dispute Resolution: Administer grievance procedures and support front-line managers in resolving disputes.
- Union Relationship Management: Collaborate with union representatives and the HR team to address mutual concerns.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws and assist in policy development.
- Training and Communication: Develop training programs and communicate effectively on labor relations matters.
- Investigations: Conduct investigations into union-related employee complaints.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze labor relations data and prepare reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or related field.
- Experience in labor relations within a unionized manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of collective bargaining and labor laws, including NLRA.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
