Compensation

$260,000 – $390,000+

A premier national law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Pittsburgh office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing employers, private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, and senior executives in sophisticated employment disputes and strategic workforce matters.

Ideal Background

5+ years of labor & employment litigation experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

• Experience representing employers in employment litigation, restrictive covenant disputes, trade secret litigation, and executive mobility matters

• Experience handling all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, injunction proceedings, hearings, and trial preparation

• Experience litigating matters involving non-compete agreements, confidentiality agreements, trade secrets, and unfair competition claims

• Experience advising clients regarding executive departures, onboarding, compensation arrangements, and workforce risk management

• Experience supporting the employment aspects of private equity and M&A transactions, including due diligence, integration, and post-closing employment issues, is preferred

• Experience conducting or supporting internal investigations, whistleblower matters, and other sensitive personnel issues is a plus

• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills

• Ability to work directly with clients on sensitive, high-stakes matters requiring discretion, sound judgment, and strategic thinking

• Excellent academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Pennsylvania bar admission required or ability to become admitted
