The University of Iowa, College of Law, Labor Center is seeking a Labor educator. This position provides adult continuing education on labor and workplace issues for workers across the state and region through a wide range of non-credit classes, seminars, and conferences both on and off campus. Responsibilities include teaching, curriculum development, conference coordination, applied research for educational purposes, maintaining positive working relationships with labor organizations, and conducting grant-related activities. This position requires a J.D. degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and experience representing labor organizations.
There is an expectation that the person in this position will maintain effective, civil, and respectful working relationships with the University of Iowa campus community and uphold the University's commitment to creating welcoming and respectful environments for all.
