The Labeling Compliance and Specification Specialist ensures all product labels adhere to USDA regulations, supporting quality assurance and specification accuracy.
Responsibilities include collaborating with Marketing, Purchasing, customers, and vendors to develop compliant labels from product development through market launch, and creating box labels via the company's ERP system to ensure functionality and regulatory compliance.
The role involves coordinating new product setup, including specifications, packaging, ERP data entry, and working with the production team.
Additionally, the specialist submits sketch approvals for FSIS LSAS and USDA generic label approvals, maintains records of submissions and approvals, and provides internal support for auditing resources and customer needs.
