Responsibilities

• Perform lab tests and procedures with precision and attention to detail.
• Verify patient insurance and handle related documentation efficiently.
• Manage referrals and coordinate with other healthcare providers.
• Maintain and sterilize lab instrumentation to ensure a safe working environment.
• Utilize Athena EMR and Nextgen systems for record-keeping and patient management.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency as a Lab Technician.
• Bilingual in Spanish, with the ability to read, write, and speak fluently.
• Experience with Athena EMR and Nextgen systems.
• Strong administrative skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
• Experience or interest in women"s health and pediatrics.

Work Environment

This position is based in a fast-paced, high-volume medical practice where many patients are Spanish-speaking. Flexibility is required, as you may be needed to work at either the Van Nuys or Plaza locations. The role offers excellent training opportunities, especially for entry-level candidates eager to start a career in healthcare.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Los Angeles, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
