Lab Technician II

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Lab Technician II for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Clark , NJ.  Details for the position are as follows:

Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location:Clark , NJ
Pay Rate: $22.79/hour (W2)
Duration: 6 Months

Job Description

• Order and manage raw materials required for laboratory activities.
• Prepare laboratory batches according to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory notebooks documenting experimental work.
• Perform and monitor stability testing for all prepared formulations.
• Identify and report formulation or stability issues to laboratory chemists and management.
• Submit testing requests and coordinate with support groups through the laboratory IT system.
• Follow established laboratory procedures and quality standards while completing assigned tasks.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
• 4–6 years of laboratory experience.

Required Skills

• Laboratory batch preparation.
• Stability testing and monitoring.
• Laboratory notebook documentation.
• Raw material inventory and ordering.
• Laboratory Information/IT systems for testing requests.
• Formulation handling and sample preparation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting formulation or product development laboratories.
• Background in regulated laboratory environments.
• Knowledge of laboratory documentation and stability study practices.
