Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Technician to join a dynamic team focused on product quality, research, and continuous improvement. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with scientists and technical leaders in a hands-on laboratory environment, supporting critical testing initiatives that directly impact product development and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Perform chemical and physical testing to support research, product development, and quality assurance initiatives.
Conduct routine and specialized analyses to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of test data.
Collect, record, and organize data while preparing charts, graphs, and reports to communicate findings.
Identify unexpected performance deviations and escalate observations to support timely problem-solving.
Follow established laboratory procedures, operating standards, and testing methods with precision.
Maintain, calibrate, and clean laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Support a strong culture of workplace safety through active participation in safety programs, audits, and best practices.
Provide technical assistance and collaboration across internal teams and stakeholders.
Evaluate material properties such as durability, strength, and density using laboratory tools and testing methods.

Qualifications
1–3 years of laboratory experience in a technical, manufacturing, research, or quality-focused environment.
High school diploma or GED required.
Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.
Skills & Attributes
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and observational skills.
Ability to manage multiple experiments, tasks, and documentation simultaneously.
Logical thinker with sound reasoning and problem-solving capabilities.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
Basic computer proficiency for data entry, reporting, and documentation.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 4 hours continuously.
Frequent walking throughout laboratory and facility areas.
Use hands and arms to operate equipment and handle materials.
Lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
Perform repetitive physical tasks including bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to read detailed instructions and small print accurately.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, with or without assistive devices.
