$21.66/hr (Days) | $23.41/hr (Nights)

**Shift: **3rd shift (6pm - 6am)
Responsibilities
- Set up, adjust, calibrate, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments
- Test raw materials, chemical solutions, and manufactured steel cord products for conformity to specifications
- Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis daily, including titration and pipetting
- Test solutions used in plating and wire drawing processes
- Identify and quantify impurities and elemental content in steel cord samples
- Record test results on standardized forms and prepare written test reports, graphs, and charts
- Prepare chemical solutions according to standard formulas
- Clean and sterilize laboratory equipment
Qualifications
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with ability to generate daily reports
- Experience in quality control and/or SPC a plus
- Must be available for a 12.5-hour rotating shift (Days: 6AM–6PM | Nights: 6PM–6AM); this is primarily a night shift position, though candidates must be open to days as business needs change; initial training will be conducted on days
