The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Quality Control Technician I  for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Frederick,  MD .  Details for the position are as follows:



Job Title: Quality Control Technician I - QC Lab Support
Location: 100% Onsite (Lab Environment)
Pay Rate: $21.90/hr (W2)
Duration: 1 Year (Ongoing Temp)

Job Description

  • Receive, verify, and log incoming samples into LIMS.
  • Process, aliquot, label, store, and organize samples for release, stability testing, and retains.
  • Coordinate sample transfers to internal and external testing laboratories.
  • Perform sample shipping activities and maintain chain of custody documentation.
  • Maintain sample storage areas through routine cleaning, maintenance, and inventory support.
  • Review QC Lab Support records, processing logs, and documentation.
  • Support deviation investigations and Operational Excellence (Lean Lab) initiatives.
  • Collaborate with QC, QA, Manufacturing, Analytical Development, Material Management, and Corporate QC to support testing and sample management.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree OR
  • Associate's degree with 2+ years of Quality Control or biopharmaceutical laboratory experience OR
  • High School diploma with 3+ years of Quality Control or biopharmaceutical laboratory experience in an FDA-regulated environment.
