Our client, a Medical Research company, is looking for a Lab Support Clerk for their Las Vegas, NV location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining an organized filing system for all pathology slides.
  • Pulls slides as requested by physician for deepers.
  • Files physicians request forms for deepers/special stains/problem resolutions.
  • Sends duplicate slides to referring physicians.
  • Assisting other departments with clerical functions when available.
  • Returns slides to file when received back from outside facilities and documents the return in the computer system.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Manager, Director or Physicians.
 
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate
  • One year clerical experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all members of the health care field.
  • Laboratory Assistant License through the State of Nevada Department of Health and Human Services
