Saint Luke’s Plazais seekinga Lab Support Associate to join our team. In this role you will have the opportunity to collect, process, and/or distribute lab specimens to in-house or reference destinations.
Responsibilities:
Aids in preparing specimens for analysis.
Mayassistwith routine technical procedures.
Prepares blood components as directed including sign in out.
Performs diverse clerical duties including order processing report filing patient billing enter retrieving lab data canceling tests problem-solving.
Communicates with clients and staff inprovidingtest order or collection information problem-solving or referral andprovidingtest result information per protocol.
Aids inmaintainingsection safety cleanliness quality control and general supply inventory levels
