The LMA 4 at SJN should be willing to be trained to function as a Tech Assist and will not work at a POC lab.
This position would provide flexible support:
• Assisting as a Tech Assist during high volume periods • Issuing blood products • Loading analyzers • Supporting the morning run with phlebotomy • Dual role: Serving as both night shift technical support and morning run phlebotomy support

Responsibilities:
The Lab Medical Assistant IV is responsible for:
• Assisting the technical staff within the technical departments • Handling any and all manual pretesting procedures, including waived testing as required • Working in a team environment • Demonstrating organizational time management, analytical, delegation, written, and verbal skills • Using computer skills appropriate to position • Possessing customer service and interpersonal skills • Knowledge of regulatory standards appropriate to position • Identifying problems and implementing and/or recommending solutions • Performing other duties as assigned
