The Lab Assistant is a part-time position supporting classroom activities and skills demonstrations, working up to 19.5 hours weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and occasional Saturdays.
Responsibilities include preparing lab setups, ensuring supplies are stocked, assisting instructors during class, monitoring student skill work, and helping with paperwork.
Qualifications include at least 18 years old, high school diploma or equivalent, welding certifications (AWS, NCCER, OSHA), proficiency in welding and equipment operation, knowledge of excavation and earth-moving techniques, and familiarity with Google Apps and Microsoft Office.
Applicants must provide immunization records, a fingerprint clearance card or be able to obtain one, and a valid Arizona driver license.
