Position: Lab Assistant, Outreach (Part-time 20 hours per week)
- This role will travel to Montgomery, Delaware, Chester, Philadelphia Counties.
Shift:
- 5am-9am; 6am-10am (flexible) M-F, rotating weekends (on calls 7am-6pm, 6am at Sat at Mirmont)
Experience:
- 2 years lab experience required
- Experience in an anatomic or clinical laboratory preferred.
- Ability to work in more than 1 section of the lab preferred.
- Working knowledge of medical information systems preferred.
Education:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Certification as a medical assistant or related field preferred.
- Moderate knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent verbal, written, computer and clerical skills.
Licensures/Certifications:
- Valid drivers license and insured automobile, if appropriate.
- MA or related preferred.
- Maintains certification in the Packaging and Shipping of Hazardous Goods.
