    Position Overview

    We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical L3 Network Data Engineer to oversee network administration, complex troubleshooting, and security governance across a global enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will provide advanced technical escalation support, lead root cause analysis for critical incidents, and offer architectural recommendations to optimize network health. This role operates in a 24x7 support environment and requires strong leadership capabilities to manage local, wireless, and SD-WAN operational teams.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Incident & Problem Management: Resolve critical tier-3 network incidents escalated from L1 and L2 infrastructure teams. Analyze complex routing, switching, wireless, and security issues. Perform deep-dive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.
    • Network Optimization & Architecture: Review existing network architecture, provide technical suggestions for improvements, and ensure all changes align with strict enterprise standards.
    • Datacenter & Cloud Operations: Support enterprise datacenter infrastructure and cloud networking (AWS and Azure), managing hybrid cloud connectivity alongside modern SD-WAN solutions.
    • Operations & Leadership: Guide, manage, and mentor operational engineering teams dealing with wide-scale LAN, Wi-Fi, and SD-WAN technical infrastructure bottlenecks.

    Required Skills & Experience (Must-Have)

    • Excellent network administration and deep-tier troubleshooting skills.
    • Good understanding and extensive troubleshooting skills spanning TCP/IP, Switching, Routing protocols, MPLS, and Load balancing.
    • Deep knowledge and experience with STP, VTP, HSRP, VLAN, QoS, and alternative switching technologies.
    • Good knowledge and direct hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and Juniper switches.
    • Good knowledge and professional configuration experience with Cisco Wireless Controllers.
    • Ability to confidently understand network designs and provide explicit suggestions for structural improvements.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and collaboration skills alongside multiple geographically dispersed teams.
    • Excellent listening skills and the ability to communicate clearly and fluently in English.
    • Complete flexibility to work in alternating shifts for 24x7 operational support.
    • Strong team player with a constructive perspective and deep commitment to business success.
    • Proven ability to multitask and manage concurrent tasks with conflicting business priorities.

    Comprehensive Core Product Knowledge:

    • Routing Protocols: Deep knowledge of MPLS, BGP, and EIGRP .
    • Cisco Routers: Hands-on operations with 7200, 3800, 3600, 2800, 2900, and 881 series.
    • Firewalls & Security: Proven administration of Cisco ASA5550, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, alongside IDS/IPS systems .
    • Load Balancers: Direct experience configuring F5 platforms.
    • Switches: Technical competency with Nexus 9K /7K/5K/2K, Cisco 9300 /6500/4500/3750/2960, and Juniper switches.
    • WLAN Infrastructure: Strong capability with Wireless LAN Controllers, WCS, and Cisco WLAN Controllers .
    • Advanced Networking Profiles: Proficiency handling PBR, PfR, ASRs, Zscaler (ZIA), SD-WAN, and Cisco ACI using Spine-Leaf architecture .
