Organization Information Cloverport Independent has proudly served the students and community for over 200 years. Our system is noted for high levels of academic achievement and we remain in the top 3% of all Kentucky districts. Our district continues to meet all NCLB targets, a goal that only 22 of the 174 school districts have attained. We are very proud of our scenic campus overlooking the Ohio River. Our new middle and high school, newly renovated elementary school, wellness center and gymnasium are some of the nicest facilities in the state. The professional, up-to-date appearance is in keeping with our commitment to providing a superior learning environment. American School and University Magazine has selected our schools to appear in the 2011 American School and University Architectural Portfolio, one of 137 projects across the US to be profiled. We pride ourselves by offering high quality education and small, safe schools. We remain the highest performing, high poverty district in the state.
