Summary:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Knowledge Management Specialist to join our team and provide expert support in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-wide knowledge management strategies for C2ISR cybersecurity, infrastructure, and system authorization processes for the Department of Defense.

Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions:

  • Serves as a lead technical expert in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-wide knowledge management strategies for C2ISR cybersecurity, infrastructure, and system authorization processes.
  • Leads the development and enforcement of comprehensive documentation standards, templates, and style guides for all C2ISR technical writing outputs, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Architects and manages advanced knowledge base systems and information architectures, integrating them with other C2ISR tools (e.g., ITSM, CMDB) to facilitate seamless information flow and accessibility.
  • Provides expert KM guidance for the preparation of technical documents that enable comprehensive IA reporting and maintain appropriate operational cybersecurity postures, including complex ATO/PRA packages.
  • Drives the development and maintenance of digital copies of all Training Manuals and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals, ensuring they are robust, easily accessible, and tailored for delivery to each operational C2ISR location.
  • Conducts comprehensive knowledge audits and assessments, identifying gaps in documentation and developing strategic plans to address them, ensuring all critical C2ISR knowledge is captured and maintained.
  • Functions as a technical expert across multiple high-impact KM assignments, guiding junior and journeyman specialists, and contributing to strategic initiatives for C2ISR information sharing and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • DoD 8140 role for WRC: 431; Element: IT; Work Role: Knowledge Manager; Proficiency Level: Intermediate
  • Must complete DoD-approved IA baseline certification for ADP-III/IT-III based on the IAT level and CE/Operating System (OS) certificate within six months of the assignment. CMDB with version control; Power BI with R/Python integration; Tableau; predictive analytics engines; Teams; Azure AD role based access; mobile access via Power Apps.
  • Bachelor degree in a STEM field or equivalent years of experience
  • Minimum 6-10 years of related experience in Network Admin or similar role.
  • Minimum of IAT2.
  • TS-SCI current clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical certification (CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician, etc.) is a plus.
