Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Manage inventory levels, place orders, and receive deliveries, while controlling food costs.
- Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high performance standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to all food safety, sanitation, and company policies.
- Collaborate with the General Manager on scheduling, labor cost management, and operational improvements.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of kitchen management experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Proven track record of managing inventory, food costs, and labor costs effectively.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification preferred).
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
