Onigiri-Sen is a new face in the food production industry dedicated to providing a quality product at an affordable price point. We strive to perfect our craft and attain our goals of providing an authentic food item that is a staple in Japanese cuisine. Using high-end ingredients and powered by a determined drive of constant improvement and innovation, we seek to provide a unique and elegant product that will allow a western audience to enjoy and experience a piece of Japanese culture. After seeing great success in the greater Seattle area, we are looking to expand into California and take the Japanese food market in the Bay Area by storm!
Work with other staff members to ensure the kitchen is set up in a timely manner and ready for production
Lead a small team of like-minded individuals while following the production model established by our Washington team
Work with staff to ensure ingredients and other preparations are complete and ready for following day's production
Ensure the kitchen space is clean and tidy following production
Aid in the development of new flavor ideas that will help propel the business to even greater heights
Current / up-to-date Food Handler's card
Minimum 2 years experience working in a previous leadership role in a kitchen or food production
Ability to accurately ascertain kitchen needs and convey directives to team members
Able to speak and understand English at a working level
Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Able to lift up to 40lbs
Willingness to adapt and learn as the company grows
Previous experience working with Japanese cuisine
Able to speak and understand Japanese at working level
