Do you love food, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and have a knack for keeping things organized in the kitchen? East Meadow Marketplace is looking for a Part-Time Kitchen Clerk to help whip up delicious dishes and keep our kitchen humming!
If you enjoy prepping main dishes, sides and sauces, you'll be at the heart of the action - making sure everything we serve is top-notch and ready for our customers to enjoy.
What You'll Be Doing:
Follow chef-prepared prep lists to stay on top of your tasks
Chop, slice, and prep fresh ingredients like a pro
Mix, measure, and season ingredients to perfection
Help prepare simple dishes, salads, and sides
Keep the kitchen sparkling clean and organized
Make sure everything is stored safely and properly
Pitch in with other kitchen duties as needed
What We're Looking For:
18 years or older
Minimum 1 year of experience in a busy kitchen environment
Knowledge of kitchen safety & sanitation rules
Comfortable with knives, utensils, and fast-paced prep work
Team player with a positive attitude and great communication skills
