Benefits:
- Salary Range: Yearly Salary of $86,901 - $121,795 (25/26 Faculty Salary Schedule); Placement within this range is determined by teaching experience, other related professional experience, and academic degrees.
- Contracted salary is for 177 days per year (August through May) as specified in the All Faculty Association Contract, Article 8.

Employment Opportunity:
Santa Rosa Junior College is seeking an individual with demonstrated instructional skills to join an outstanding team of faculty and instructional administrators to provide high-quality programs and services to our district, our community, and most importantly, our students. This is a full-time, regular contract position in the Kinesiology, Athletics & Dance department at Santa Rosa Junior College, beginning Fall Semester, August 2026. Appointments are contingent upon funding and Board approval.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Positive role model for players by being present, energetic, positive, composed, selfless, and prepared.
- Ensure compliance with CCCAA regulations.
- Well-organized in travel coordination for games as well as all travel paperwork.
- Well-organized in maintaining recruiting data and scheduling recruiting visits on and off campus.
- Demonstrated expertise in sport instruction and knowledge of the sport of wrestling.
- Efficient at individualized and team instruction with emphasis on teaching, training, and skill development associated with the sport of wrestling.
- Knowledge of the total student-athlete experience within the CCCAA.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate student-athletes.
- Developing and maintaining alumni relationships.

The Kinesiology, Athletics, and Dance Department at Santa Rosa Junior College is dedicated to promoting lifelong health, wellness, movement, and performance through comprehensive academic instruction, physical education, and competitive athletics. The department integrates scientific principles of human movement with practical, experiential learning to support student success in academic, athletic, and personal development.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess the minimum qualifications exactly as listed above for disciplines of interest, or they must file for equivalency.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 4 years successful collegiate coaching experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; able to communicate with diplomacy.
