The Kilns Forklift Operator role is based onsite in Talladega, AL, working 12-hour rotating shifts (5:30 AM – 5:30 PM) on a 2/2/3 schedule. Candidates must be flexible for overtime, holidays, and weekends.
Responsibilities include safely stacking and loading lumber into kilns, performing basic forklift maintenance, maintaining a neat work area, and using the MOE system for work orders. The starting pay is $20/hour, with potential increases based on skills and performance.
Qualifications include at least 6 months of forklift or heavy equipment experience; preferred candidates have 1+ year in manufacturing or sawmill environments, prior heavy equipment experience, and familiarity with PC-based reporting tools.
