Overview:
A kind and busy family currently in the Hamptons is seeking a temporary nanny to assist with the care of their three children under four years old ASAP until August 7. There is a private bedroom and bathroom for the nanny to live in for the duration, or the nanny can go home on weekends. The schedule will be Monday through Friday 11 am-8 pm.
If it is a good fit, the nanny could continue in a full-time capacity in Manhattan as a full-time live-out nanny.
Responsibilities:
Creating a playful and engaging environment for the children; the older two children are in camp until 12 pm
Accompanying the children to the park, on walks, and to drop-in classes nearby
Overseeing mealtimes and preparing children's meals as necessary
Organizing and restocking children's items
Qualifications:
- Energetic and enthusiastic
- Ability to enter a home with an existing structure and schedule, and keep things running smoothly
- Kind, with a good sense of humor
- Understanding of when to step in and out
- Hard-working and proactive
- Comfortable working on a team with an involved mom and grandparents who are in and out of the home
Requirements:
- Already local to the New York area and available until August 7
- Experience working with infants and toddlers
- Legal to work in the US
Salary and Benefits:
$35-45+ per hour depending on experience and qualifications
