Burlington County Animal Shelter is looking to hire a Part-Time Keyboarding Clerk. The core responsibility of the Keyboarding Clerk is to assist visitors and callers by providing information about our organization's services while maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, and giving additional support to staff members and volunteers necessary for the smooth and efficient running of an animal care facility. This job will require you to work every other weekend from 8:30am - 4:30pm, requiring no more than 28 hours per week, and offers a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the shelter and its operations. You must be at least 18 years old to apply.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school education or equivalent; can work in a high-volume customer service atmosphere, and possess strong typing skills and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of: Computer and database systems, learning and following manuals and guidelines, money handling principles, basic mathematics, information access via computer systems, and personal communications, and responsibly handling customers' private personal information.
Skill in: Oral and written communication; office equipment uses such as calculator, telephone, copy/scan/fax machine, and computer (keyboarding, internet, and applications).
Must have the Ability to: Operate equipment such as a calculator, copy machine, digital imaging equipment, and computers; work effectively and courteously with the general public daily and in potential conflict situations; work under stressful conditions and remain calm and objective; lift and carry boxes weighing up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis.
Salary: $ 21.07 per/hr
