Job Description

Our Food Service channels — hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships — are critical to Meadow Gold's success. This role focuses on strengthening customer relationships, driving profitable sales growth, and protecting margin.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Key Account Manager (KAM) for foodservice supports major hotels and small restaurants. The KAM is responsible for growing sales, improving product mix, optimizing execution, and ensuring Meadow Gold remains a preferred vendor across Hawaii's food service landscape.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and grow assigned food service accounts.
- Build strong relationships with current and new customers.
- Conduct regular visits to ensure effective customer service.
- Identify sales opportunities and introduce new items
- Execute Sales Initiatives
- Monitor out-of-stocks, credits, and quality issues; coordinate internally to resolve efficiently.
- Track sales performance, competitive activity, and market trends.
- Prepare weekly and monthly updates for Sales & Marketing leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years experience in sales, retail, or food/beverage roles.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and basic reporting tools.
- Valid Hawaii driver's license and reliable transportation.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Existing relationships within the industry and strong understanding of Hawaii's market.
- Experience working with perishable products.
- Familiarity with pricing, promotions, and margin management.
- Ability to interpret sales data and convert insights into action.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Lift products (up to 30 lbs) as needed
- Extended period of sitting and standing
Pay Range: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00/year
