WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

• Develop and implement a partnership strategy that focuses on data center technology providers that enable comprehensive solutions, common offerings, and sales growth from a remote home office, anywhere in the US. • Handle relationships with strategic partners to understand their requirements and develop appropriate solution(s) to best meet customer needs. • Support the business through understanding partner offerings, roadmaps, and strategic positioning in the market. • Continuously scan for prospects with current or new partners to create innovative offerings, expand current offerings within the focus area, and track progress/value proposition to the business. • Provide extensive product and solutions training for partners, especially in the cabinet, power, and cooling products. • Must have the ability to lead complex accounts with multiple collaborators at multiple locations. • Maintain knowledge of competitors' activities throughout the focus market. • Understand current market relationships and partnerships with customers. • Work closely with product management and marketing teams to develop new innovative products for the data center and networking market.

Requirements:

Ideally 5+ years outside sales/partnership/alliances experience within the data center or applicable industry, 7+ years of experience highly preferred. Bachelor's degree highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to harness partnerships to drive the strategic plan and alignment to organizational strategy to advance opportunities. Validated experience with partnerships/alliances and business development activities. Skills in verbal communication, written communication, and knowledge of the market served. Ability to work 100% remote from a home office anywhere in the US, and travel 30-40% of the time on average. A valid driver's license is required.
