GENERAL SUMMARY

The purpose of this job is to provide veterinary care under the guidance of a licensed veterinarian, vaccinate animals, and maintain records. Cleans animal services facilities and equipment. Performs euthanasia when needed or required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleans sanitizes, and maintains dog runs and cat rooms.
• Feeds and medicates sick or injured animals.
• Vaccinates animals; maintains complete and accurate records.
• Provides euthanasia services for sick or injured animals.
• Sends euthanized animals for rabies testing.
• Assists the public with adopting animals; responds to questions and concerns.
• Performs related work as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education and Experience

• 6 months + training beyond High School.
• No experience is required.

Required Licenses or Certifications

• Driver's License
• Euthanasia Tech (Provided after hire)

Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Shifts may include weekends
