We are currently seeking a Kennel Attendant to join our team. This position is Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, and is a great opportunity for students looking for part-time entry level work experience in the veterinary field.
The primary role of the Kennel Attendant is to ensure proper patient care by maintaining a clean, stocked, and organized hospital environment.

What to Expect Within This Role: - Clean and disinfect cages, kennels, floors, sinks, and hospital areas
- Maintain cleanliness of treatment areas, exam rooms, lobby, break rooms, and restrooms
- Ensure laundry is continuously processed and maintained
- Stock supplies throughout the hospital as needed
- Assist veterinary technicians with surgical preparation, including:
- Folding and cutting surgical drapes
- Cleaning endotracheal tubes
- Organizing and wrapping surgical packs
- Preparing surgical instruments for autoclave sterilization
Minimum Qualifications: - Minimum age of 16 required due to job duties and safety requirements
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable, dependable, and consistent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching
- Good hand dexterity and visual acuity
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Starting Pay | $12/hr
