Description of the Position:

This position is responsible for all facilities operations for the Kalama Harbor Lodge. The facilities Coordinator is responsible for the general appearance and the safe and effective operation of interior and exterior areas of the property. It is the responsibility of the facilities Coordinator to keep both General Managers/Pub Managers/District Managers, and Corporate Facilities Managers informed of and to attend to the areas in need of help or extra attention on a daily basis as necessary. Duties include, but are not limited to: Effective independent decision making and discretion on the facilities needs of a given property, regular travel between the multiple properties, maintaining a current list of maintenance and inspection schedules as they pertain to equipment on property, assist in keeping a current vendor "Blue Sky" list for the properties, performing basic repairs and maintenance of the interior and exterior of the properties, contacting appropriate service providers to set up maintenance schedules and orders, keeping a current list of supplies and/or tools needed, consulting with the on purchases or service costs, identifying and addressing potential safety concerns on property, responding to guest concerns, responding to employee work orders in a timely manner. This position requires the ability to work in different departments on property with flexibility for varying hours depending upon business need and the discretion of the District Managers/Pub Managers/General Managers and Corporate Facilities Managers. This position may be required to work at other locations outside of their regularly assigned locations, helping with extra coverage, working on special events, working at the Edgefield summer concert series on a seasonal basis or making deliveries as needed. The facilities Coordinator will also maintain limited supervisory duties staff that may support the facilities operations on the properties. Being a Facilities Coordinator is hard physical work and requires mental agility and the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast paced and deadline-oriented environment. The facilities Coordinator must also have the ability to work well independently and as a member of a team.

Qualified applicants

  • Basic repair and maintenance knowledge and skills
  • Familiarity with the equipment & tools used in basic maintenance and repair projects
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record and ability to obtain motor vehicle insurance
  • Ability to travel between multiple locations on a daily basis
