Role Overview:
The K–2 Principal at Grant Elementary serves as the instructional and administrative leader for early elementary grades, providing vision, leadership, and management to ensure a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment. This role emphasizes early literacy, foundational skill development, and the social-emotional growth of young learners. The Principal fosters a positive school culture, supports staff development, and ensures compliance with district, state, and federal requirements.
As an integral part of a school's instructional leadership team, the special education coordinator is responsible for managing program services and compliance and for facilitating communication at the district level and with external agencies.

Required Education and Experience:
B.A./B.S. Degree in Education
Experience in public education, preferably at the elementary level
M.A. Degree in Educational Administration
Valid Iowa Administrator License with evaluator approval
Terms of Contract:Salary Range:
Annual 220-day contract$100,000 - $110,000 (based on qualifications & experience)
