Position Summary

THIS IS A TIME-LIMITED POSITION WITH AN ESTIMATED DURATION OF 2 YEARS.

Horizons-Wake seeks a two-year time-limited Program Coordinator that will oversee justice-involved and SUD services for women and their children. This position will work alongside an interdisciplinary team to ensure pregnant and parenting women are connected to gender-responsive reentry services, safe housing or a residential treatment program upon leaving a jail or prison in NC. The primary administrative duties (70%) will include data entry monitoring of behavioral health documents, program evaluation, quarterly quality assurance and improvements tasks (assessing the fidelity of behavioral health services and satisfaction surveys and focus groups), quarterly and annual reports to auditing bodies, and hiring behavioral health staff and interns. The primary clinical duties (30%) include will attending clinical team meetings, co-facilitating clinical training and supervising paraprofessionals, conducting intakes, assisting treatment planning, and serving as backup for incoming screenings and referrals when needed. This position requires experience in caring for pregnant and parenting women with substance use and incarceration histories.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a Human Services discipline with coursework related to the area of assignment. Some positions may require certification to practice as a certified or licensed Clinical Social Worker as required by the North Carolina Social Work Certification Board.

Management Preferences

  1. Experience working with women impacted by substance use, 2) Experience with project management and staff supervision, 3) Experience with data collection and monitoring, 4) Experience in training behavioral health staff
