Position Summary:
The Junior Windows System Engineer will join a collaborative IT team to assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows‑based servers across physical and virtual environments. This entry‑level role focuses on learning best practices for system reliability, security, and documentation while providing tier‑1 support for day‑to‑day operations.
- Provide system administration technical support for the Windows server systems in a multi-platform environment (On Premise, Physical and Virtual, VMware, Citrix, Horizon)
- Provide technical support on current Supporting versions of Windows servers, system analyst support and configuration.
- Write and run PowerShell scripts to automate repetitive tasks under guidance.
- Provide consulting and technical advice and problem resolution for development of application programs and system interfaces.
- Continuously document and share system information with fellow associates as configuration, program or technical changes are made or occur.
- Support urgent case (including non-office hour and weekend).
