Junior Systems Engineer

Elbit Systems is looking for a Junior Systems Engineer in the Helmet-Mounted Display - Inertial Technologies domain, to join the Aerospace Division site in Haifa.

Main Responsibilities:

• Characterize and develop inertial boards • Define and develop calibration and testing processes for inertial components • Work as part of multidisciplinary system engineering teams developing complex systems integrating inertial technologies - including airborne head‑mounted systems (Augmented / Mixed Reality), UAVs, and more

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Aeronautical Engineering, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering • Experience working with Matlab / Python - Advantage • Experience in characterization and implementation of inertial components - Advantage • Experience in development of tracking and navigation algorithms - Advantage • High‑level English proficiency • Willingness to travel abroad • Ability to learn and work independently • System‑level vision and strong analytical skills with attention to detail • Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership abilities
