    Position Overview

Ceiling Pro Indy is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to help keep our commercial ceiling projects organized, on schedule, and moving smoothly from bid to completion. This role is a strong fit for someone who is highly organized, tech-comfortable, communicates clearly with clients and crews, and can quickly learn the technical side of our industry — including ceiling systems, grid layouts, materials, and installation methods.

    Employment Type & Location

    Employment Type: Full-time

Location: Hybrid — Sheridan, Indiana. In-office as needed for site visits, meetings, or hands-on system work; remote otherwise.

    What You'll Do

    • Coordinate day-to-day project logistics — schedules, submittals, purchase orders, and deliveries — across multiple active jobs.
    • Serve as a point of contact between clients, subcontractors, field crews, and vendors, keeping everyone aligned and informed.
    • Track project timelines and budgets, flagging risks or delays before they become problems.
    • Maintain organized project documentation: contracts, drawings, change orders, RFIs, and closeout files.
    • Learn and work within our project management and scheduling software, and help the team get more out of the tools we already use.
    • Get up to speed on the technical side of commercial ceiling systems — suspended grids, acoustic tile, specialty and architectural ceilings — well enough to read drawings, spot discrepancies, and speak knowledgeably with clients and installers.
    • Support estimating and bidding by organizing take-offs, specs, and pricing information.
    • Attend site visits and progress meetings as needed.

    What We're Looking For

    • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
    • Comfortable with technology — quick to learn new software, comfortable with spreadsheets, and generally at ease troubleshooting systems.
    • A clear, professional communicator, in writing and in person, with clients, crews, and leadership alike.
    • Able to pick up new systems and technical concepts quickly, including the more technical aspects of the ceiling industry (prior construction experience is a plus but not required).
    • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines without dropping details.
    • Comfortable with a hybrid schedule — self-directed on remote days, present and engaged when in-office or on-site.
    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

    Nice to Have

    • Prior exposure to commercial construction, specialty contracting, or interior finishes.
    • Experience with project management or scheduling software (e.g., monday.com, asana, etc.).
    • Basic blueprint or drawing-reading skills.

    How to Apply

Interested candidates should submit a resume and brief cover letter describing relevant experience and why you're a good fit for this role.
