    Description

    We are seeking a Platform Engineer to support DevSecOps platform infrastructure and operations for mission-critical government systems. This role provides Tier 2 and Tier 3 operations support while learning site reliability engineering (SRE) practices in cloud-native environments. The ideal candidate will support automation, observability, and troubleshooting in Azure Kubernetes environments while working alongside experienced platform engineers. Must be a US citizen and an active TS/SCI security clearance is required for this position.Sign-on Bonus availableResponsibilities include:

    Technical Experience & Qualifications

    Must be US CitizenEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical fieldExperience: Minimum 1 year of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, infrastructure operations, or related field; recent graduates with relevant internships or coursework will be consideredSecurity Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance (Required)Cloud Platforms: Foundational knowledge of Azure cloud services; AWS experience is a plusBasic Technical Skills: Exposure to Linux/Windows administration, scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash), and version control (Git)Containerization: Basic understanding of Docker and container concepts; Kubernetes exposure preferredCI/CD & Automation: Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and interest in learning automation practicesSecurity Awareness: Understanding of basic security practices with willingness to learn DevSecOps and DoD compliance requirementsProblem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting mindset and ability to learn technical concepts quicklyCommunication: Good verbal and written communication skills for team collaboration
