The role offers an excellent opportunity for a registered patent attorney early in their career who is looking to work alongside experienced legal counsel while helping protect and strengthen an innovative company's intellectual property portfolio.Responsibilities In this role, you will collaborate with attorneys, engineers, and business leaders to support a broad range of patent and IP matters while gaining valuable in‑house experience in a collaborative, business‑focused environment.Basic Requirements J.D. from an accredited law schoolRegistered Patent Attorney admitted to practice before the USPTO with at least 1 year of experienceEngineering or science undergraduate degreeExperience conducting patentability analyses and drafting patent applicationsDemonstrated ability to analyze legal issues and develop practical, business‑oriented solutionsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively both independently and collaborativelyStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExperience with IP licensing or related agreements is a plusPosition Details Type of role: Permanent In‑House CounselSchedule: Full‑TimeLocation: Hybrid (Minneapolis, MN)Compensation and Benefits Pay: The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $160,00.
