Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior IT Project Manager to support the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects. This role works closely with the IT PMO leader, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a foundational understanding of IT systems and project management methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Assists in planning and managing IT projects from initiation to closure
Supports development of project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations
Coordinates with cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, vendors, and stakeholders
Tracks project progress and maintains status reports, dashboards, and documentation
Identifies risks and issues; escalates when appropriate and assists in mitigation planning
Facilitates meetings, prepares agendas, and documents meeting notes and action items
Ensures project documentation is complete and maintained according to standards
Monitors project deliverables to ensure alignment with scope and business objectives
Supports change management and communication efforts
Assists with vendor coordination and contract tracking as needed
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
1–3 years of experience in project coordination, IT project management, or related roles
Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid)
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project/Planner)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
Preferred Qualifications
PMP certification
Experience working on ERP and infrastructure projects
Understanding of SDLC and IT service management concepts
Exposure to budgeting and financial tracking

Salary Range: $92,000 - $110,000
