About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a confidential, growing organization in the Cumming area seeking to add an HR Generalist to their team. This is a hands-on role supporting day-to-day HR operations while partnering with leadership to ensure a positive employee experience and strong organizational processes.
Position Overview
The HR Generalist will support a broad range of human resources functions including employee relations, onboarding, compliance, benefits administration, and recruiting coordination. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple areas of HR in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
- Administer benefits, enrollments, and employee communications
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Maintain HRIS systems and accurate employee records
- Partner with leadership on performance management and HR policies
- Support recruiting efforts, including interview coordination and offer preparation
- Assist with training, development, and employee engagement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance and employment law
- Experience with HRIS systems (ADP, Paycom, Paylocity, etc.)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification
- Experience supporting a small to mid-sized organization
- Exposure to multi-state HR environments
