We are seeking a motivated and analytical Junior Credit Analyst to join a highly collaborative credit team within a leading real estate investment organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career finance professional to build a strong foundation in corporate credit analysis, financial statement review, risk assessment, and investment decision-making.

Responsibilities
- Underwrite credit risks for acquisition and leasing tenants using qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Analyze financial statements, business, industry, and management information to support credit decisions
- Prepare and present credit memorandums to investment committee members
- Monitor existing tenants credit developments through periodic financial analyses and industry/tenant news
- Maintain an accurate, up-to-date credit database
- Coordinate with other departments to gather due diligence items and meet transaction deadlines
- Support senior credit staff on credit analysis, credit diligence calls, and macroeconomic/industry research
- Assist with internal and external default research and other ad-hoc credit projects
Required Experience and Skills
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- 03 years of work experience in credit, finance, economics, or related roles (including internships)
- Strong understanding of financial statements and economics
- Strong Excel skills, including the ability to manipulate and analyze spreadsheet data
- Ability to conduct independent research and work effectively in a team environment
- Interest in credit analysis, research, economic, and business news
