JUNIOR COMPLIANCE AUDITOR
As a Junior Compliance Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all facets of program & state compliance within the assigned portfolio is maintained.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviews and returns initial rental application packets within 48 hours
- Reviews and returns all non-income qualified file corrections within 24 hours
- Reviews and returns all move in documentation by the 10th of every month
- Reviews and returns all Annual Recertification files whose income exceeds the current 60% income limit within 7 days
- Reviews and submits online reports as required by applicable state finance agency
- Ongoing review of primary utility allowances within assigned portfolio to ensure timely & accurate implementation
- Provides training and guidance to persons within assigned portfolio
- Preparation and submission of file audits as requested by lenders, syndicators, owners, and state & federal government agencies
· Other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Compliance.
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2 years working with Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC)
- Computer literacy
- Ability to perform complex mathematical calculations
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Working knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Accurate typing speed of 40 words per minute
- Working knowledge of YARDI
- Program training certification preferred, not required
