· High school diploma or GED required; technical training or trade school is a plus.
· 1–2 years of CNC machine experience (woodworking preferred, but not required).
· Basic understanding of G-code and CNC programming principles.
· Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (preferred but not required; will train the right candidate).
· Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and measurement tools.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
· Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
· Set up and operate flat table CNC machines according to specifications and work orders.
· Load and secure material (wood, MDF, etc.) onto the CNC table for machining.
· Assist in creating and modifying programs using CAD/CAM software.
· Install and adjust tooling, including setting tool length offsets.
· Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure correct part production.
· Perform basic machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and checking filters.
· Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers and other measurement tools to verify tolerances.
· Follow all safety procedures and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns.
· Collaborate with senior CNC operators, programmers, and supervisors to ensure production efficiency and quality.
