Overview
Growing organization in the Biltmore area is seeking a Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role offers hands-on exposure to general ledger, accounts receivable (AR), and billing functions, with opportunity for growth and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
Manage accounts receivable (AR) including invoicing, cash applications, and collections follow-up
Support billing processes, ensuring accurate and timely client invoicing
Maintain financial records and ensure data integrity within the accounting system
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis
Partner with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (recent grads encouraged to apply)
Internship or 0-2 years of accounting experience preferred
Experience with Sage or similar ERP systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Excel
