Whether under the Don Lee Farms® brand or other store labels, we make mealtimes hassle‑free with our quality foods.About the RoleWe are seeking a Junior Accountant to support our accounting team, with a primary focus on Accounts Receivable and the opportunity to grow into additional accounting functions over time. This role is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who is detail‑oriented, reliable, and eager to learn how a complex, high‑volume food manufacturing business operates financially.This is an in‑person role and offers hands‑on exposure to core accounting processes, with room to expand responsibilities as skills develop.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage Accounts Receivable activities, including invoicing, cash application, deductions, and customer follow‑upMonitor AR aging, research discrepancies, and work cross‑functionally to resolve issuesAssist with month‑end close activities, including reconciliations and journal entriesSupport Accounts Payable, general ledger, and other accounting functions as neededMaintain accurate financial records and documentationHelp improve processes and controls as the business growsServe as backup support for other accounting roles during peak periods or absencesSkills & AbilitiesStrong attention to detail and a high level of accuracyComfort working with numbers, spreadsheets, and financial dataOrganized, dependable, and able to manage routine responsibilities without constant oversightWillingness to learn new accounting areas beyond ARClear communicator who works well with internal teams and external customersProficiency in Excel; experience with accounting systemsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (AR experience strongly preferred)Internship or entry‑level accounting experience welcomedEqual Opportunity StatementDon Lee Farms is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
