MercyOne will reimburse your board and licensure fees.
Once you have your licensure, start your career with MercyOne (18-month retention requirement).

From acute stroke interventions to complex surgical neurology cases, you'll work with cutting‑edge technology, remote telemetry and a tight‑knit interdisciplinary team that thrives on collaboration and excellence.
You'll also partner with MercyOne Ruan Neurology Care, central Iowa's largest and longest‑running comprehensive neurology clinic. Their experts use the newest research, innovative technologies and active clinical trials to create individualized treatment plans for conditions affecting the brain, spine and nerves. With seamless collaboration across Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Neurosurgery, and Pediatric Neurology, our patients receive coordinated, world‑class care at every stage.
Our dedicated neuroscience nurse educators ensure every patient and family feels supported through one‑on‑one guidance and education. With MercyOne' s leadership in stroke care and a mission‑driven focus on exceptional outcomes, you'll be part of something truly impactful.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Candidates in the Jumpstart program is not required to work during stipend period- this is financial support only during last semester of school.
Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health's Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, as well as other policies and procedures to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be in the final semester of school in eligible position. Must pass boards within 6 months of graduation. Must sign the Program Agreement and return before any payments are processed. Candidates must work for at least 18 months post licensure
