Implement the LCC district education curriculum and program requirements. Manage property budget and fund-raising controls for the LCC unit. Attend all scheduled or called meetings. Coach the unit's Color guard, Rifle Teams, Drill teams, etc. Prepare plans, coordination, and supervision of all co-curricular service learning, special activities or events, (military ball, drill meets, honor guards, encampments, and other extracurricular activities). Assess and evaluate student's progress and growth through formal and informal evaluations procedures. Evaluate student's progress and determine materials and strategies to provide for their needs. Coordinate and consolidate lesson plans, curriculum activities and objectives with other content areas in order to provide for transfer of learning and knowledge. Actively recruit students to enroll in LCC programs and maintain or exceed cadet enrollment requirements. Receive, store, safeguard, issue and account for all property assigned to the school. Have a keen knowledge of administrative and supply operations. Participate in all functions directed by the Office of the Director of Army Instruction (DAI). Be apart of the public affairs program directed toward the school, school district, community and civic groups to further enhance their understanding and mission of the LCC program. Develop thematic units and other projects to provide for extended interaction and creativity. Instruct 180 hours of character development materials in classroom and laboratory environment. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Travel throughout the district is integral to this job. A remote working environment /alternate work arrangement is not an option for campus-based employees/campus-based positions because regular and punctual attendance at the worksite and performing all duties at the worksite are essential job duties for all campus-based personnel.
