Salary: In accordance with the negotiated agreement, the minimum starting salary with a Bachelor's degree is $70,535 (Step 1).

Terms: 10-month position plus summer stipend and annual drill team or rifle team stipend.

Requirements: Certified Marine Corps Officer

Rahway High School is seeking a highly motivated, certified Marine Corps Officer for the Marine Instructor (SMI) position. The Unit has an average enrollment of 110 cadets with a school population of approximately 1100 students and is involved in every facet of MCJROTC including drill, color guard, marksmanship, academics, drones, physical fitness and community service. Applicants must be willing to work before and after school and some weekends traveling with cadets, supporting school activities, attending competitions and community events. Primary duties will include classroom instruction, guiding cadets through the college ROTC/Service Academy application process, fundraising, general administration, academic mentoring, and overall program management.

Minimum Requirement: N.J. Teacher of Military Science Certificate
