Position Details

Must meet the following requirements:

1. Must meet all Michigan criteria to be Highly Qualified teaching in the State of Michigan.

2. Have a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with 6-12 Grade Level Certificate with an

LX or LQ and NP, NR or ND endorsement preferred.

3. Demonstrated enthusiasm and expertise in working with upper Middle and High School

Grades.

4. Must be able to work with a diverse group of students.

5. Minimum of one year of teaching experience in the Middle and High School Grades is

preferred.

6. Willingness to learn from and collaborate with other professional educators to gain

insight into a variety of teaching methodologies in working with a diverse student body.

7. Commitment to participating in ongoing professional development in chosen subjects and

content areas.

8. Willing to serve on Building and District committees.

9. Must be able to read, understand and interpret standardized test scores, or be willing to be

in-serviced in the same.
