As a Jr. Software Development Engineer (Jr. SDE), you will write real software and collaborate with experienced engineers who provide guidance and opportunities for ownership. As a year-round intern, you will be fully integrated into a team and regularly contribute to impactful deliverables. Your designs and code will help solve complex technical challenges at Amazon.
The JDP is a year-round internship program designed to support a strong balance between work and school. You will receive 1:1 mentorship from a full-time Amazonian for the entirety of your program tenure. Flexible part-time schedules during the school year and full-time employment over the summer create an environment where students can succeed both academically and professionally. In San Luis Obispo, an established Jr. community fosters meaningful connections between you and your peers.
