Akkodis is seeking a Jr Instrumentation Engineer - Machine Learning for a Contract with a client in Louisville, KY. The ideal candidate with experience designing, implementing, and supporting instrumentation, data acquisition, and testing systems to ensure product performance, compliance, and reliability.
Rate Range: $34/hour to $38/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Jr Instrumentation Engineer - Machine Learning Job Responsibilities include:
Design, develop, implement, and maintain instrumentation and data acquisition systems for product evaluation, performance validation, and compliance testing.
Develop and enhance test automation solutions using Python, LabVIEW, C++, or similar programming languages to support laboratory and regulatory testing activities.
Install, configure, and support instrumentation software, data acquisition platforms, environmental test chambers, and OEM testing solutions.
Collaborate with engineering, Digital Technology, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to integrate testing systems, networking infrastructure, and monitoring capabilities.
Analyze test data, develop reporting tools, and maintain data analysis applications, including updates to existing macros and software utilities.
Support commissioning, troubleshooting, calibration, and continuous improvement of laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and control systems to ensure reliable and accurate test results.
Required Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology required; bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in instrumentation, controls, data acquisition systems, testing, or laboratory engineering environments.
Strong experience with Python, LabVIEW, C++, or similar programming languages for data acquisition, test automation, and instrument control.
Hands-on experience with instrumentation and controls, laboratory testing systems, OEM software integration, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting of test equipment and data acquisition platforms.

Pay Details: $34.00 to $38.00 per hour
